Project Description
Do You Have A Construction Project We Can Help With?
Granby Street, Leicester
On many commercial construction projects one of the biggest challenges we face is how to make the best use of space.
Papa Frites in the heart of Leicester posed a different question altogether.
Based on the popular Belgian concept of fast “on the go” food, Papa Frites was a fresh new brand with bright visual colours who wanted to create a space where customers would grab their food and carry on with their daily life. Our remit was to create a visually appealing fit for purpose job – all to be done in a tight space.
Working closely with the plans, visual renders and the marketing company, we first create a full project schedule mapped with timelines. Having worked out exactly where the different parts of the business would work in this confined space we got to work. With a very small customer facing area, we had to work to very precise dimensions to make it work. Other elements we had to think about was the kitchen area for staff which was to be open plan and the prep area to the rear of the shop.
This project showcased our ability to work creatively and to a tight space ensuring we don’t waste any space. The results are a fantastic looking store which serves its purpose and exactly what the client required in their initial brief.
