What does it take to transform a newsagent into a high-end restaurant? A lot of creativity and expertise (and lots of elbow grease).
When one of our clients approached us and asked us to build the restaurant of their dreams we embraced the challenge. This project is a great showcase of how Eco Construction can take a space and turning the client’s big dream into reality using our skills and experience.

The Challenge
When we started this build our biggest challenge was how to include the client’s vision which required 50 seater restaurant, an open area with glass for live cooking, full kitchen area plus rooms for toilets and disabled facilities.

How we transformed a newsagent into Pamson Grill
Turning an newsagent into an upscale restaurant is no easy feat. The two spaces have specialized needs, presenting interesting challenges when trying to make big things happen.

But— this task isn’t impossible. Here’s how we did it.

Getting this kind of project completed to the correct level requires experience and a “can do” attitude.

Eco Construction worked closely with the client, their architect and designer to be part of every phase of the project. Working collaboratively like this makes every construction job easier. A dedicated project manager was on hand every step of the way to ensure we hit deadlines and stayed on budget.

The main parts of this project involved a whole new shop front, full rip out, new kitchen area with all the hygiene materials for walls with appliances, floors and ceilings, elaborate wall finishes that looked like designer render, full counter and worktops, full electrics and plumbing.

The result? One of the finest looking designs and builds in the city and we are proud to have worked on.
